Part-time lecturer, Vedas College

Since May 2024 Devkota has lectured part-time at Vedas College, his alma mater, teaching IT and Applications (BBM), Introduction to Information Technology (CSIT) and Computer Security, and using AI tools in class.

Nepalaya College

Higher secondary school and college in Kathmandu

• Guest lecturer and training coordinator — July 2024 – October 2024 · Kathmandu, Nepal. Between July and October 2024 Devkota ran a training programme at Nepalaya College in Kathmandu, delivered through DASRAA Technology: courses of 24 hours each, held over six weeks for students of the college. He taught the course on Node.js, MedusaJS and the development and deployment of e-commerce himself. For the other courses, on cloud technologies and on Python, he planned the content with the college, found the teachers and coordinated the classes. He also set up the Linux servers in the cloud that the students worked on and managed their accounts.

Vedas Hashtag

Vedas Hashtag is a student technology community at Vedas College in Lalitpur. Devkota co-founded it in July 2022, while he was a student of the college. It organises hackathons, talks and training sessions, among them the Coding Marathon and the talk series Vedas Hashtag Speaks, and it is still active.
